We recently helped a client who needed to replace an old pool pump with a new model. While the installation itself was straightforward, the new pump was longer than the original, creating a challenge when it came to fitting it into the existing setup.

The new pool pump’s length exceeded the available space, meaning the original pipework and fixtures needed to be modified to accommodate it. The pump area was quite tight and enclosed, leaving little room to manoeuvre – but with some careful planning, we made it work.
What We Did:

- Used quality joiners, primer, and adhesive to reconnect the system securely

Even in such a confined space, we were able to install the pump without compromising on functionality or structural integrity.
Final Checks & Testing:
After the installation, we ran the pump through several test cycles to ensure everything was working correctly. We checked for:
- Leaks or pressure issues
- Flow efficiency
- Noise and vibration levels
Our goal was to make sure the newly fitted pipes wouldn’t leak or burst, especially under pressure during peak operation. We stayed on-site until the client felt confident that their new pump was running smoothly and safely.
